Let’s Make it Work for You

Being a teenager can feel overwhelming at times. The ups and downs of these years often come with a lot of emotional and mental challenges. You might face tough situations or develop negative thoughts about yourself that make it hard to feel balanced and good about who you are. It’s normal to experience anxiety, stress, or low mood, especially after something tough has happened. While talking to friends or family can help sometimes, what if those feelings keep coming back and interfere with your daily life?

If you’ve been dealing with issues like a painful breakup, feeling embarrassed in class, experiencing panic attacks during tests, or facing any other tough situations—know that it’s okay to seek help. EMDR Intensives can be a great option for you. These sessions are designed specifically for young people like you, allowing you to tackle difficult feelings in a focused way. Instead of going to therapy for weeks on end, you can complete 10 hours of sessions in just 3 to 4 days, making it easier to fit into your busy schedule.

Currently, appointments are available if you are at least 15 years old, have a supportive network around you (like friends and family), and are ready to tackle the problems you struggle with. A 3-hour EMDR Intensive session is scheduled once, or twice a week. It’s also helpful if you have access to a psychologist or a school counselor for additional support after your EMDR Intensive treatment.

Taking this step can help you process challenging experiences and learn to think in healthier ways.

Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength.

Please note that it is at the discretion of the psychologist to determine if an intensive format is right for you.
